Thirty-five activities

Use our 22-metre private yacht to discover one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean.

On the island of vitality, every hour has a shape — water, wellness, the long Mediterranean table, the open road. Tell us what you have in mind, or let the day be planned for you. The boat called at dawn, the chef briefed by ten, a sommelier on standby for the evening.

Thirty-five ways to spend a day.

Twenty-two metres, at the pier.

The Horizon Elegance 70, waiting in the harbour at the bottom of the garden. Twelve guests, a professional skipper and a stewardess included, a tender for the coves and a long lunch on the aft deck. For the day, the week, or that thirty-mile crossing to the Italian shore.

Horizon Elegance 70

A 9-meter high-performance powerboat cruising at speed across the Adriatic

Activity 1

9-meter powerboat

A professional skipper at the wheel. For the days the Adriatic asks for speed — coves, hidden beaches, an island lunch and back.

A guest receiving an in-villa facial treatment

Activity 2

In-villa spa treatments

Facials, manicures, massages — the small rituals, at your hour. Treatments come to you: in the spa room when the afternoon is bright, or on a bed laid out in the garden beneath the pines when the heat softens.

Two children and their carer reading together under a blanket by flashlight

Activity 3

Dedicated Kids Animator

Contessa has its own dedicated “Kids Animator”, with a full program of activities, games and adventures tailored to the children’s ages — giving parents the freedom to enjoy some time entirely to themselves.

A helicopter banking above autumn treetops reflected in a still lake

Activity 4

National parks by helicopter

The Kornati and the Adriatic from above — half a day, never forgotten. Lift off from the local airfield, over the islands, and back in time for dinner.

A tennis player on a clay court at the Ljubicic Academy, racket in hand

Activity 5

Ljubicic Tennis Academy

Run by a former world No. 3 and Roger Federer’s long-time coach, just a 5-minute drive from the villa. A morning lesson, an afternoon hit, or a week of coaching — for the children, or for yourself.

The Nerezinac historic sailing vessel passing a pine-covered shoreline at golden hour

Activity 6

The Nerezinac

A traditional Lošinj sailing ship — two masts, white canvas, charterable for the day. The whole shoreline from a quieter deck.

A pair of hands cradling a handful of black truffles fresh from the ground

Activity 7

Truffle hunt

Dogs, oak, autumn earth. An hour in the forest with an Istrian truffler, and a long lunch with the morning’s catch.

Big-game fishing rods and reels mounted on the gunwale of a sport-fishing boat

Activity 8

Big-game fishing

Tuna, amberjack, the early-morning chase off the open shelf. Rods, reels and a skipper who knows the spots. Out before light, back for lunch.

Bottlenose dolphins swimming in the deep blue of the open Adriatic, seen from above

Activity 9

Dolphin safari

Out at first light. The Adriatic pod that lives off Lošinj most often shows itself before nine — and the morning still has the rest of the day in it.

Three guests on quads paused on the ridge, the islands and the bay behind them

Activity 10

Panorama safari on quads

Four-wheel-drive quads through the pine ridges of Lošinj — the cove views opening at every turn, the road narrow and white. Helmets, water, a guide on the lead bike.

A sailing cutter heading into the sun, the sail glowing against a golden sky

Activity 11

Sunset sailing

An Enavigo cutter for the last hour of light — sails up, cove at port, the sky doing its slow work. A bottle of something cold, and the harbour back at dusk.

The Rialto Bridge in Venice at sunset, gondolas and water taxis on the Grand Canal

Activity 12

Private shopping in Venice

Thirty minutes by jet, a celebrity stylist at the boutique door. The afternoon set aside for a single window — and a glass of something on the way home.

A string quartet performing outdoors in the villa garden by the cove

Activity 13

Private concerts in the garden

A quartet on the lawn at dusk — strings carry over the cove. Artists arranged through our concierge: Miloš, Roman Simovic, Roby Lakatos, Boris Andrianov.

A DJ’s hands on a mixer with coloured lights blurred behind it

Activity 14

DJ pool party

When the night asks louder. Lights over the pool deck, a DJ booked through the concierge, the set list yours. The neighbours, walled by pines, hear nothing.

Children at easels for an outdoor art class in the garden

And for the children

Fifteen of their own,
organised by the staff.

A whole floor for them. Treasure hunts in the garden, art classes under the pines, a kids spa, a cooking class with the chef, a laser-tag afternoon when the parents need an hour. Daily care between four and seven, when the grown-ups slip out for an aperitivo.

How a day is built

We organise everything.
You just say yes.

The concierge holds the schedule. The chef holds the menu. The skipper holds the wheel. We talk to each other so you don’t have to. Mention an idea over breakfast — by lunch the boat is fuelled, the table laid, the trainer warmed up.

Days at Contessa are composed to the hour.

Plan a stay

Tell us what kind of week
you have in mind.

A quiet one. A loud one. One on the water. One in the garden. One with the children, one without. Write us your dates and the rough shape of the days — we’ll write back with the rest.
